The Dreams that Fiends Dream
Jacob Thaddeus Eden - Whitfield
Once Belaya Smert', now industrialist Prince
Jacob is not a creature of notable pulchritude. His image was best and, perhaps, most truthfully immortalized by his former commanding officer, Lieutenant General Sir William Pulteney. Whilst giving Jacob’s eulogy.
Oh no, Jacob never had the… air of a soldier. He was as short as he was skinny. He was pale. He had messy black hair and a perpetually stuck up collar. He was an absolutely dreary looking fellow. A bank teller perhaps.
Untill! Untill he looked you straight in the eye. Oh, that was your downfall. I remember once, we ran into a spot of bad luck in Ypres, I saw him stare down vital information out of a Fritz. Oh, the stare on that lad…
If you even just caught a glance, that stern, intense stare would make you pause for a moment. Which gave him ample time to start talking. And that was his other strong suit.
5 feet 7, sickishly thin and with a face only a mother could love, Jacob is not a pretty creature indeed. But this cruel genetic irony, as both of Jacob’s parents were notably beautifull people of a notably incestuous stock, is not something Jacob is ashamed of. A regal demeanor is something learned and a well tailored suit can emphasize the rare attributes.
With these two one is free to take on the world, look it in the eye and say kneel.
But being rich or handy with a rifle doesn’t hurt either.
